TAKE ACTION OPPOSING THE FEDERAL JUDICIAL NOMINATION OF EMIL BOVE, ED ARTAU, KYLE DUDEK and JORDAN PRATT to lifetime appointments to the Federal Judiciary.

THE ISSUE:  All four of these Trump nominees have expressed right-wing ideology in their legal work and lack an understanding of the need to judiciously separate politics from justice.

Bove has repeatedly demonstrated loyalty to President Trump over the Constitution. He has a record of contempt for judicial authority, ethical norms and prosecutorial integrity. Artau has helmed controversial cases that reflect his right-wing philosophy. Dudek has frequently represented law enforcement officers in civil rights lawsuits, and Pratt, in his work, has advanced conservative and religious liberty causes. None of these nominees reflect the background or high qualifications needed for the federal courts.

HOW TO TAKE ACTION: Call Senator Durbin at 202-224-2152, and Senator Duckworth at 202-224-2854, or the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121, if you are from out of state (and ask for your Senators’ offices).

Hello, I am a constituent of the Senator, calling because I oppose the nominations of Emil Bove, Ed Artau, Kyle Dudek and Jordan Pratt to lifetime appointments to the Federal Judiciary. Bove brings a visible record of contempt for judicial authority, and the others follow in his footsteps. They are clearly not qualified for seats on any federal court, certainly not for lifetime appointments. I want my Senator to vote NO on these nominations and urge his/her Senate colleagues to join him/her in opposing these distinctly unqualified candidates. Thank you.
