TAKE ACTION OPPOSING THE FEDERAL JUDICIAL NOMINATION OF EMIL BOVE TO THE U.S. COURT OF APPEALS

THE ISSUE: Emil Bove has issued statements in contempt of court rulings, urging defiance of them and should not hold a lifetime seat on the federal court.

Emil Bove has served as a principal associate deputy attorney general since 2025. As such, he has repeatedly demonstrated loyalty to Donald Trump over the Constitution. He has a record of contempt for judicial authority, ethical norms, prosecutorial integrity, and the firewall that must separate politics from justice. If he is confirmed, he will have a life tenure on the federal bench, perhaps even a launch pad for a seat on the Supreme Court. His record of urging defiance of court rulings makes him unqualified for this appointment.

Hello, I am a constituent of the Senator, and I am calling because I oppose the nomination of Emil Bove to a lifetime appointment to the Federal Judiciary. Bove brings a visible record of contempt for judicial authority, and the separation of politics from justice. He is clearly not qualified for this seat on the Court of Appeals, or any court. I want my Senator to vote NO on this nomination and to urge his/her Senate colleagues to join him/her in opposing this distinctly unqualified candidate. Thank you.
