Vaccines and What You Need To Know
Fall is the time when most of us start thinking about getting vaccines for ourselves and if we have children, for them as well. This has all been rather routine and straightforward, until now. Now, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has thrown us into a healthcare crisis by creating confusion, ignoring the clear science about vaccines, and firing the xxpert vaccine committee and the head of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
On October 6, join CWTA for a discussion with public health experts about what we can and should do to keep the public and ourselves safe from vaccine preventable disease. We’ll discuss what is going on with vaccines both nationally and in Illinois. What are the implications of States forming their own expert committees on vaccines? What vaccines will be available? Who will have access to vaccines and who will pay for them? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed.
