Did you know that in February 2027, all 3 elected councilor seats across Chicago's 22 police districts will be open? This is your chance to step up, represent your neighborhood, and make a real impact on local safety and police accountability.

Here is what you need to know about the role: 🗓️ Commitment: ~20 hours per month (including one mandatory public meeting). 💳 Compensation: A $500 monthly stipend, plus a $5,000 budget per district to help fund community initiatives.

Not looking to run? You still have a vital role to play! Community safety works best when we all participate. Neighbors are encouraged to communicate with their local councilors to share concerns, discuss police behavior, and collaborate on community safety solutions. 🤝💬
