RIFL ACT ADVOCACY DAY - May 8
Friends, Advocates, and Illinoisans,
On Friday, May 8th, advocates from across Illinois will come together in Springfield for The RIFL Act (HB3320 / SB2279) Advocacy Day — and we need you with us.
The RIFL Act is landmark legislation that aligns the financial interests of gun manufacturers with prevention. Its passage would make Illinois the first state in the nation to require firearm manufacturers to share the public costs that their products generate with taxpayers — while directly supporting survivors and community violence intervention efforts that are already saving lives across the country.
This is a crucial moment for this effort! Showing up matters. On May 8th, we need to send a resounding message to our state legislature that taxpayers and victims won't foot the bill for gun injuries any longer!
